BBC Children in Need – Money raised

What a wonderful evening on the 13th December 2014 celebrating everyone’s hard work and 2014 successes at our annual Bertram Gala Awards. Thank you so much to Head Office for their organisation of the event. We took the opportunity with all our nurseries being represented to announce the definitive total raised for this year’s BBC Children In Need Appeal… Across our 36 nurseries children, parents and staff raised a staggering £8,843.06 & our Chief Executive, Graeme Scott, has kindly matched this – so a total of £17,686.12!

Thank you to everyone for all their support and generosity.

Our Duckling ‘Baby’….

The puffins and the owls had a very special visit from a duckling called ‘baby’. Baby is 5 days old and was cared for in the egg by a broody chicken, but when the chicken realised that baby wasn’t a chic, chicken didn’t want baby anymore, so now one of our puffin children and his mummy and daddy are baby’s family now and baby lives in their home with them. Baby is ssssoooooooooo cute  we can’t wait until baby comes to visit us again.
